Cinco pasajeros tuvieron que bajarse del vuelo LM462 de la aerolínea escocesa Loganair con destino a Derry, Irlanda del Norte, pues la aeronave “estaba muy pesada” y no podía despegar.

Así lo informó el periodista del portal Independent, Ben Kelly, quien se encontraba en el vuelo que salió desde el aeropuerto de Londres-Southend el pasado 21 de diciembre.
En este contexto, contó que, de los cincuenta pasajeros del avión, cinco tenían que bajarse para proceder en el despegue del vuelo, pero ninguno quería ofrecerse a dejar el transporte.
Además, reveló que la alternativa que le ofrecieron a los pasajeros fue que abandonaran el vuelo y tomar otro con destino a Belfast, ciudad que está aproximadamente a 2 horas de distancia de Derry.
De igual forma, destacó que tres pasajeros accedieron a bajarse del avión, pero que las últimas dos personas que arribaron el vuelo fueron elegidas para dejar la aeronave.
Por último, indicó que a nave despegó a las 12 de la noche luego de un retraso de tres horas por el inconveniente con los pasajeros.

Dom and I paid £200 each for the one way flight, which was extortionate to begin with, so this inconvenience is appalling.

The alternative for the people who get off the flight is having to leave this airport to go to another London airport to be flown to Belfast, which is 1.5-2 hours away from Derry.

1. Take all bags off and fly without them and they’ll get to Derry ‘somehow’
2. They’re going to ask if we can fly to Belfast (they don’t know)
